Physical Capacity Evaluations (PCE)
Are your jobs physically demanding? Is your applicant pool aging? Are you trying to weigh the merits of experience versus an applicant's medical and physical condition?
Physical Capacity Evaluations (PCE) can provide an additional objective measurement of a job applicant’s ability to safely perform a physically demanding job.
A PCE is developed using an ADA-compliant job description to simulate the physical demands of a job.
Following a Post Offer Physical, the applicant goes through the PCE supervised by Sensia’s physical therapy staff.
The applicant’s performance on the PCE is another metric used to make the Placement Recommendation.
